Although I am a Litigation Attorney by trade four years ago I started an e-commerce platform, Qorkz Wine, that focuses on connecting the passionate artisan winemaker with the wine enthusiast who seeks access to limited production wines.  I now serve as CEO for Qorkz in a highly regulated industry.  As a litigation attorney, I've served as lead trial counsel on multi-million dollar lawsuits in Alameda, Los Angeles, Napa and San Francisco. 

 

On a daily basis, I evaluate facts and law and develop strategies for successful resolution.  I know the importance of identifying key issues and identifying a path for success within the confines of laws and regulations.  
Interests

  •  I took a "sailing sabbatical" from San Francisco through the Panama Canal to Newport, Rhode Island.

  • As a Sausalito parent, I served on the Steering Committee of the Sausalito Nursery School.

Twenty-eight years ago, I came to Treasure Island from the mid-west as a young US Navy JAG Corps Officer. I practiced mainly criminal law and served as lead counsel on many cases. After a tour in Naples Italy, I separated from the Navy in 1997 and settled in Sausalito with my husband. I still serve in the Naval Reserves.
 
Since 1997, I've practiced civil litigation in the Bay Area and in 2014 started Qorkz Wine, a company that focusses on boutique wineries.
